CheckMine — Account & Data Deletion

Last updated: August 9, 2026

This page explains how to request deletion of your account data for CheckMine: Watch Your Step!, developed by CheckMine (contact: kimokodack@gmail.com).

What account data CheckMine holds

CheckMine does not require an account to play, and if you never sign in, nothing about you leaves your device.

If you choose the optional Google Sign-In, two things happen. The app receives your basic Google profile information (display name and email address). And your game progress — coins, experience, achievements, unlocked items and purchases — is stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, in the European Union) under an identifier tied to your Google account, so it can be restored if you change or reset your device. That record is readable only by you; security rules restrict every record to its own signed-in owner. Your in-progress matches are never uploaded.

The game also uses Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics, which collect anonymous usage and crash data tied to a resettable app-instance identifier, not to your Google account.

How to delete your data

1. Delete your cloud data (instant, in-app)

Open the app → SettingsCloud syncDelete cloud data. This immediately and permanently erases your stored progress from our servers. Your progress on the device is kept, so you can carry on playing offline.

2. Request cloud deletion without the app (by email)

If you have already uninstalled CheckMine, or cannot reach the app, email kimokodack@gmail.com from the Google account you signed in with, with the subject line Data deletion request — CheckMine. We will delete the stored record within 30 days. We use the sending address only to locate the record and confirm the deletion.

3. Remove your signed-in profile from this device (instant, in-app)

Open the app → SettingsSign out. This deletes the stored display name and email address from your device. It does not delete the cloud record — use step 1 or 2 for that.

4. Delete all local game data (instant, on-device)

Uninstall the app, or go to your device Settings → Apps → CheckMine → Storage → Clear data. This permanently removes all local data — coins, XP, achievements, settings, saved matches and any signed-in profile details. If you have cloud sync on and sign in again, your progress is restored from the cloud; to remove it everywhere, do step 1 or 2 as well.

5. Request deletion of analytics data (by email)

To request deletion of any anonymous analytics data associated with your app instance, email the address above with the same subject line. We will process the request within 30 days.
